Punched in the Stomach........

Poor John Haas felt as if he had been "punched in the stomach" by the Honorable Judge Marshall ruling he could not use the capital improvements money for more salaries, wages and perks for the city workers. He just can't stand to see the suffering citizens of the town get any improvement to their life with better roads, properly functioning sewers, dependable water lines, etc, etc etc.... Maybe he fears the State auditor might come in and clean house.
HOW DO WE GET STUCK WITH ALL THESE LOSERS????

When Good Men Do Nothing

by Wayne Greeson

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

So much of the history of the struggle between good and evil can be explained by Edmund Burke's observation. Time and again those who profess to be good seem to clearly outnumber those who are evil, yet those who are evil seem to prevail far too often Seldom is it the numbers that determine the outcome, but whether those who claim to be good men are willing to stand up and fight for what they know to be right.....

Haas could not win an election to be poop scooper. He is only only Council to serve the power people who APPOINTED him. The man has absolutely no personality.
