Just watched WSAZ and the they covered the elevator problem as well as jantior who stole the elderly peoples pills! He was arrested today I believe and is in jail for burgularly!  Taking advantage of the elderly is awful and their medicine no less!

maye it takes more than 1 or 2 threds to get some action on ths problem. if you had a family member
living in the towers you woould be on the phone calling everyone you could think of and maybe even knocking on office doors telling them the problem and
wanting answers not the run around. my thanks go out to alkyholler for bringing this out into the open.

Tonight I had the opportunity to talk at length with a individual whose mother resides at Buckeye Towers. There had been a lot of stories in New Boston in the last week about tenants who were afraid to say anything about the conditions there for fear the ownership would either evict them or close the place. Well it seems Mayor Warren showed up the other day and announced New Boston would close the place if things didn't change. That basically scared the hell out of many of the tenants who didn't know where they would end up living. According to the individual I talked with, Warren came across as saying if the complaining didn't stop, he'd close the place rather than worry about the elevators. I had been hearing some stories like this for a few days but hadn't had the opportunity to check it out until tonight. The story jives with some other stories I have been told by other relatives of folks who live there. Guess all I have to say for NOW, is, those of you who complain about Kalb need to know you don't have to look very far to find someone worse. Intimidating old people....chasing kids in the park, Wal-mart STILL not open, yeah and you people in Portsmouth think the damm bridge was a big deal!

I want to see them try to put those people out....NBC CBS ABC CNN MSNBC AND NEW'S FROM OTHER COUNTRY'S WILL BE IN NEW BOSTON OHIO...AND THE @@SHOLE'S WHO DO IT WILL BE SUED AND THEY WILL BE IN THE STREET .

It is hard to believe that this building hasn't already been shut down, only because there (from what I've heard) is no evacuation plan. Have you ever read the signs in and around elevators ? They say IN CASE OF FIRE DO NOT USE ELEVATOR. The elevator shaft becomes a superheated chimney for smoke ventilation. No one could survive in the above floors if they tryed in a matter of a very short time.
